General Information

This species is now restricted to the chalk downs of southern England.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.

Foodplant(s): Sheep's-fescue (Festuca ovina)
Flying: One generation, late July-mid September

National status: Least Concern

Open chalk grassland.
