General Information

This species is restricted to the highlands of Scotland, with possibly still an isolated population in Worcestershire.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.
Flies during the day

Forewing length: M 27-30mm. F 34-39mm.
Foodplant(s): Silver Birch (Betula pendula)
Flying: One generation, April-May
