General Information

There are two main forms of this species. The nominate form has a large dorsal streak and reduced paler markings. f. quadruplella has four large creamy or whitish markings.

 

The larvae initially form a blotch mine and then roll the edge of the leaf, making two or more rolls.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.

Flying: One generation, September-May (hibernates)
