General Information

This species can be identified by the darker area towards the head and the small blackish triangular blotch on each forewing, forming a diamond shape when at rest.

 

This is commonly known as the bud moth because of its damage to the fruit buds of orchard trees.


Wingspan: 12-17 mm.
