Known to fruit growers as the plum fruit moth or red plum maggot, this species is a sporadic pest in plum orchards.


Wingspan: 10-15 mm.
Foodplant(s): Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), plums (Prunus spp.)
Flying: One generation, June-July
