General Information

The adults of this species can be seen flying around hawthorn bushes in late afternoon.

 

The larvae create a circular blotch mine without a gallery.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Flies during the day

Wingspan: 5-6mm.
Foodplant(s): hawthorns (Crataegus spp.)
Flying: One generation, late April-early May
