General Information

This moth has an ochreous or fawn tinge to the pale markings and a general lack of definition in the pattern.

 

The larvae initially produce a blotch mine, then fold down the leaf edge or the tip of the leaf.


Wingspan: 9-10mm
Foodplant(s): Beech (Fagus sylvatica), Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus)
Flying: Two generations, May and August
