General Information

Widespread but local in mountains in montane and sub-alpine zones, usually encountered in small numbers but can be common on some sites.


Foodplant(s): geraniums (Geranium spp.)

Habitat

Herb-rich open grassland and glades on all soils where Geranium spp. grow. Seems especially fond of Geranium sanguineum

Recorded in 5 (0.3%) of the 1900 10km squares of Bulgaria.
