We have found it to be widepread in the limestone hills NW of Sofia and south of the Western Stara Planina. We have also found it in the limestone hills of northern Greece, SW and W Bulgaria in Kyustendil Province, but not elsewhere in Bulgaria.
Foodplants: According to Pyrgus.de and Lepidoptera Mundi larvae feed on milk vetches (Astragalus spp.). Sainfoin (Onobrychis spp.) is also mentioned on Lepidoptera Mundi.
Calcareous grasslands.
