General Information

This species flies during the day high around the tops of birch trees before they come into leaf. The moths fly lower during the afternoon and drink and bask at puddles.

Pupates in the surface of soft bark.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Flies during the day

Foodplant(s): Downy Birch (Betula pubescens), Silver Birch (Betula pendula), Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia)
