General Information

Pupates on the food plant or in leaf litter.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Male readily comes to light, sometimes in numbers. Female not.
Flies during the day

Forewing length: 23-27mm.
Foodplant(s): Common Comfrey (Symphytum officinale), Hemp-agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum), Hound's-tongue (Cynoglossum officinale), nettles (Urtica spp.), Bramble (Rubus fruticosus), sallows (Salix spp.), honeysuckles (Lonicera spp.), Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria)
