General Information

Pupates in leaf litter.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 24-27mm.
Foodplant(s): Bog-myrtle (Myrica gale), willows (Salix spp.), birches (Betula spp.)
Flying: One generation, July-early August
UK Presence: Resident and Immigrant

Habitat

Riverbanks, boggy areas, moorland and woodland.
