Only known to occur in a small colony in Struma Valley in SW Bulgaria, discovered by Paul Wetton in 2012. Here it associated with it's hostplant Andrachne telephioides. There is one previous record from SE Bulgaria in Strandzha near the Turkish border (Slivov and Abadjiev 1999).
