General Information

The larvae feed inside the seedheads of bulrush over winter. They can be detected by the presence of quantities of protruding down.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Foodplant(s): Reedmace (Typha latifolia), Lesser Reedmace (Typha angustifolia)
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August
