General Information

Pupa is attached to a fallen oak leaf.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Forewing length: 13-16mm.
Foodplant(s): Pedunculate Oak (Quercus robur), Sessile Oak (Quercus petraea), Turkey Oak (Quercus laevis)
Flying: Two generations, early May-early July and mid July-late September
UK Presence: Resident

Habitat

Oak woodland.
