General Information

The male of this species is extremely variable as can be seen from the photos.

 

The female is flightless and only has vestigal wings.

 

Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.
Male readily comes to light, sometimes in numbers. Female not.
Often found at rest during day
