General Information

The adults can be seen flying around the foodplant at sunset.

The larvae create a short, broad green or white mine.


Wingspan: 10-12mm
Foodplant(s): Sea Club-rush (Bolboschoenus maritimus), Saltmarsh Rush (Juncus gerardii), Round-fruited Rush (Juncus compressus)
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August

Habitat

Salt-marshes and brackish dykes around the coast.
